In the aftermath of the Michigan State University shooting, Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.) spoke about her personal experience with her father “who needed help” but was still able to obtain guns. Dingell said the issue of gun safety is personal and that Congress and state legislatures need to take action.
